Anthony took up the game at the age of 13 and turned professional five years later, becoming fully qualified in 2004.
Anthony started his playing career working as an assistant professional at Lymm Golf Club.
While at Lymm Anthony won various assistants' tournaments and several Regional PGA Pro-Ams. He holds course records at both Hawarden Golf Club and Ashton-in Makerfield Golf Club with rounds of six under par.
The highlight of Anthony's career to date was qualifying and competing in the Open Championship in 2004 at Royal Troon Golf Club in a field of 164 of the world's best golfers.
